Empowerment & impact

Empowering Farmers. Creating Opportunities. Building Futures.

We promote the weak, support the strong, and make a difference in all.

The Elite Empowerment Programme

Our objective is to create farmers

The programme supports rural and emerging farmers who have the passion and determination to farm, but lack the resources to get started.

We identify promising farmers, help them start or strengthen their poultry projects, equip them with knowledge, and progressively connect them with opportunities to grow.

Ask about the programme

Selected farmers may receive:

  • Free starter chicks
  • Poultry consultation
  • Basic technical guidance
  • Mentorship
  • Production support
  • Access to poultry knowledge
  • Networking opportunities
  • Opportunities to connect with potential markets

Connecting farmers to markets

Production is only half the challenge

Emerging and rural farmers can produce successfully and still struggle to turn production into income without reliable markets. We build networking platforms that connect farmers with:

  • Buyers
  • Other farmers
  • Poultry entrepreneurs
  • Resellers
  • Agricultural stakeholders
  • Potential business partners

Our approach

  1. Empower
  2. Train
  3. Produce
  4. Connect
  5. Market
  6. Grow

This is how we intend to turn empowerment into sustainable economic opportunity.

Youth empowerment & development

Growing the next generation of agricultural entrepreneurs

Young people are an important part of the future of agriculture and the poultry industry. Where possible, they take part in our operations and learn through practical exposure.

We don't just prepare chickens for the future. We prepare young people for the future too.

Young people gain:

  • Practical agricultural knowledge
  • Poultry production skills
  • Business exposure
  • Work experience
  • Entrepreneurship skills
  • Professional discipline
  • Teamwork
  • Responsibility

Our social impact model

Seven ways we create impact

  1. Genetics

Providing access to quality poultry genetics.

  2. Knowledge

Teaching farmers how to achieve better results.

  3. Empowerment

Supporting farmers who need assistance to get started.

  4. Networking

Connecting farmers with other industry participants.

  5. Market access

Helping farmers identify opportunities to commercialise their production.

  6. Youth development

Providing young people with skills, knowledge, exposure and constructive opportunities.

  7. Sustainability

Helping farmers build poultry projects that can progressively become self-sustaining.

Our future aspirations

Where we're heading

Our long-term ambition is to build an organisation that combines commercial success with measurable social and agricultural impact.

  • Increasing hatchery capacity
  • Expanding our genetics portfolio
  • Developing stronger breeding programmes
  • Increasing access to exotic breeds
  • Supporting indigenous poultry improvement
  • Expanding the Elite Empowerment Programme
  • Establishing stronger farmer networks
  • Developing structured farmer training programmes
  • Increasing youth agricultural development opportunities
  • Expanding distribution points
  • Developing strategic partnerships
